Enerkey Integration

The Skenarios platform enables the automatic retrieval of energy consumption data for buildings from the Enerkey service. The data is synced on first day of month, when data from the previous full month(s) is fetched.

Enerkey as a Data Source

Enerkey is a service commonly used by municipalities and property owners to collect smart meter energy consumption data at the Facility level.

API Key

To allow Skenarios to fetch data from Enerkey via its API, the municipality or property owner must provide an API key to Skenariolabs or Senaatti Properties.

Building Matching

The primary matching method is through the Permanent Building ID field. To enable automatic data updates, the Enerkey Facility and the Skenarios building must have the same customer-specific identifier in this field.

Object Matching Without Building ID

If the Permanent Building ID is missing in either system, matching is done via the EnegiaID. During onboarding, Skenariolabs assigns EnegiaIDs to objects based on name matching between Enerkey and Skenarios.

⚠️ Since this process may lead to incorrect matches, users must verify that the EnegiaIDs are correct for each object.

Maintenance and Updates

- Each object can have only one EnegiaID at a time.
- If the EnegiaID changes in Enerkey, it must also be updated for the corresponding object in Skenarios.
